Nikki graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Exercise Science in 1994. Driven by a strong desire to understand anatomy, performance, and the human body's resilience, Nikki attended IPSB, School of Integrative Psycho-Structural Bodywork( AKA-International Professional School of Bodywork) in San Diego,CA from 1997-1998, and again in 2003. She has continued to educate herself on best practices and methods throughout her career. She was first licensed as a massage therapist in California and most recently completed the Colorado exam for massage therapy and licensure(MBLEX).
Her story has been a mixture of personal athleticism and providing massage therapy to high-level athletes and people returning from physical challenges and injury.
In 1998, Nikki began working with professional road cyclists and triathletes in San Diego. In 2000, she worked for the Australian Institute of Sport to massage their Olympic candidates.
Nikki has spent her adult life racing and training at a high level. In the early 2000's she raced mountain bikes on the national circuit. She traveled to Colorado and fell in love with running and racing up the mountains of Colorado. She is now an avid marathoner with three Boston's and a Chicago Marathon behind her and more on the horizon.
As a therapist, Nikki loves helping people become their best selves. In addition to helping clients prepare for the olympics, and others reach their personal race goals, she genuinely loves helping clients recover from intense challenges, injury and surgeries.
